Can you run a low cost airline?
OpenSky is a strategy board game about airline management, focused on the world of low-cost carriers. Players build an airline network by placing aircraft, capturing passenger demand, competing for routes, and setting fares.
When passengers book, players secretly offer a price. Win the booking with the cheapest fare, then maximize your profit by upselling optional extras passengers don't really need, just like real airlines.
OpenSky combines airline network planning, pricing, competition and passenger demand into a fast and accessible strategy game.
Gameplay
You take on several airline roles at once: plan routes, set ticket prices, manage your aircraft and decide how aggressively to push for extra revenue.

Worker placement
Use your limited resources to develop your airline and decide which actions are most important for your network.
Real-time first price blind reverse auction
Compete for passenger bookings by secretly choosing your fare. The airline offering the lowest price wins the booking, creating a tense pricing battle between competing airlines.
Push your luck
Passengers can generate additional revenue through optional extras. Decide how far you want to push your ancillary revenue strategy and balance additional income against the risks of your decisions.
